Congratulations to Chaos Alumna Mallory Meyer who was recently named the
MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year for Widener University. Mallory finished 4th
in the conference with a 2.03 ERA, 1st in hits with 51, 2nd in average with
.354, 2nd in doubles with 9, 3rd in RBI's with 28 and 1st in homers with 5.
Steph Connolley was also named to First Team All MAC

Thursday
Juliette Lulias stroked a triple and Michele Patten recorded 9
strikeouts in Haverford's 4-0 win over Marple.
Alicia DeSanto went 4 for 4 yesterday with 4 runs scored in Upper Darby's
13 to 7 win over Conestoga. Alicia ripped 2 doubles, while teammate Abby
Block chipped in with 2 hits, including a triple, and 6 RBI's on the
day.
Loran Milhaliak picked up the shut out win only allowing 2 hits in
O'Hara's 11-0 win over Carroll yesterday.
Wednesday
Courtney Spina allowed only 1 hit while striking out 12 in Garnet's Valley
7-0 win over Oxford. Courtney helped herself out by going 3 for 5 with a triple
and 3 RBI's, while teammates Christine Schlichter and Nicole Spina
each picked up 2 hits, including a double each. The win was the Jags 12th of the
season, including 9 by shut out.
Tuesday
Ally Homa had 3 hits and 3 RBI's in Marple Newtown's 11-0 win over Ridley.
Loran Mihaliak picked up the shut out win from the circle as Cardinal O'Hara beat Hallahan 3-0.
Sarah Thomas stroked a double, a triple, and picked up 3 RBI's to help
Carroll to an 11-6 win over Goretti.
Alicia DeSanto went 4 for 4 with two runs scored. Abby Block went 3
for 4 with an RBI and a run, and Sam Jackson, while not getting on base,
did get 2 RBI's in Upper Darby's 8-0 win over Penncrest.
Monday
Chelsea Kendall had a no hitter with 8 K's and went 2 for 3 at the plate in
Downingtown West's 10-0 win over Unionville.

The Future
With so many seniors graduating from Chaos Gold we will be earnestly seeking
players in all positions for the 2009 season. Tryouts will be held this
coming August for our elite 18U Gold Team, as well as for all other age
groups. Click on "Contact Chaos" at the bottom of this page, and
give us your contact information. We will then email you as tryouts
approach. Tryout information will also be posted here at that time. Come and
tryout for the most dynamic softball organization in the Delaware Valley.
